MAY/JUNE

  • Anisha Vaduseva

    Bollywood

Hello! My name is Anisha Vasudeva, and I am excited to begin Yoga and Bollywood dance lessons! From the age of 3, I have always enjoyed dancing to all types of music. I've truly appreciated the value and significance of dance in my culture and have taken Bollywood classes, along with performing Garba/Raas, Bharatanatyam and Kathak (Indian forms of dance).

Dancing is an amazing social activity for kids. It improves balance, strength, while allowing kids to learn the language of movement. And most importantly, dancing is inclusive.

My classes are intended to show kids the importance of stretching and moving our bodies. We will do yoga, dance, and play to some of our hit Bollywood songs, along with learning the basics of foot and hand coordination.

I currently work for Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, in Human Resources. I also manage my own dance company, Little BollyWonders.
