Dreams Coming to Fruition
Welcome to Your Journey. I am so excited about all of the things that our various programs represent.
I grew up in Western Howard County and attended Bushy Park Elementary, Folly Quarter Middle School, and Glenelg High School. I grew up riding my horse, Dimples and spent my days planning out all of my various business ventures. I attended The University of Maryland where I studied public health science and early childhood education. I am and always have been an entrepreneur and planned to be a physician as a back up plan. While in college, I worked 40-90 hour work weeks as a labor and postpartum doula and maintained a full course load.
I opened my home daycare in West Friendship in March of 2018 at 7 months pregnant with my first son. We became the first large family child care home in Howard County. Our school has grown exponentially and I am so proud of what we have to offer. My goal is and always will be- to have a space where families can feel safe and know their children are loved. We are creating a community in which children and parents have access to a wide range of unique opportunities that will make their lives full in the now and provide them with beautiful memories to look back on. There are no limits to the experiences that we can provide our children with. Western Howard County is an area in which people tend to come and live long term. There is something to be said for having lifelong friends.
I have three young children of my own and I know what is to be a parent and have so much love and “want” for your children. Life is so so busy but it is also incredibly beautiful. I live life with intention and hope to help bring peace, laughter, comfort, and the good kind of crazy to the families in our programs. I will never stop wanting for your children and your families. I hope that whatever phase or stage you find yourself in, you will always find joy in Your Journey.

I saw a young mother
With eyes full of laughter
And two little shadows
Came following after.
Wherever she moved,
They were always right there
Holding onto her skirts,
Hanging onto her chair.
Before her, behind her—
An adhesive pair.
“Don't you ever get weary
As, day after day,
your two little tagalongs
Get in your way?”
She smiled as she shook
Her pretty young head,
And I'll always remember
The words that she said.
“It's good to have shadows
That run when you run,
That laugh when you're happy
And hum when you hum—
For you only have shadows
When your life's filled with sun.”— Unknown
